Lib Dem London Assembly candidate Stephen Knight has backed the community vision for the regeneration of Brentford.

The Liberal Democrat London Assembly candidate for Hounslow, Stephen Knight, has lent his support to the community vision for the regeneration of Brentford.

"I'm impressed by way that the community has come together to express its own vision for the High Street in order influence the shape of the future development," said Assembly candidate Stephen Knight.

"This is a major regeneration site from the High Street to the Thames with historic boatyards, derelict industrial buildings and workshops. It clearly requires regeneration in a very sympathetic way. The message to developers is simply - work within the community vision or face a major battle with the community."
