Knight congratulates Richmond's first Fairtrade School

Stephen Knight, who is Deputy Leader of Richmond Council, has congratulated the borough's first school to achieve Fairtrade School status, The Queen's Primary School in Kew.

Other schools are also seeking this status and are holding Fairtrade stalls and tuck shops during the special Fairtrade Fortnight.

Stephen Knight said: "I am thrilled that Queen's School has become the first to achieve Fairtrade status and I expect many others to follow their example."
